Learn MSTR®

Become an Accredited Practitioner

This course is for health professionals only.

Qualifications and training in a medical speciality, bodywork, therapeutic touch, or as a movement teacher (e.g. Yoga or Pilates) are essential.

To learn MSTR® and become an Accredited Practitioner you need to:

1/. Attend a 1-day training day and pass a short multiple-choice questionnaire

2/. Complete the Instant Access online course and a 1 hour mentor session

3/. Attend an Live Online Class and pass a short multiple-choice questionnaire

THEN

4/. All students must complete, submit and pass 5 case studies within 6 months of the course

One Day Training

Our 1 Day Face to Face Classes are run around Australia each year. Each one-day training class usually runs 9am - 5pm. Check with your industry association for CPE points availability.

NEW MSTR® L2

Live Online Training

A brand new course that aims to extend and upskill our accredited practitioners. This course includes a review of your current skills and technique as well as introducing a variety of new manual skills to enhance your treatments and clinical outcomes. We also include additional theory and knowledge around the anatomy and physiology of the body. The course runs from 8am - 4pm AWST / 10am - 6pm AEST. Check with your industry association for CPE points availability.

AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA IN 2026

MSTR® Level 2 is only available for Accredited Practitioners
Live online training is conducted using MS Teams or Google Meet . This is a full day online training course.

Online Instant Access

Sometimes it is not possible to attend a face to face class. The new fully online Instant Access course gives students all the theory and practical videos required to complete the course in an online remote learning environment. Access to the course material and videos is for 6 months. Upon completion students are required to attend a 1 hour mentor session with an international instructor of your choice, then complete and submit 5 case studies for review and assessment.

Live Online Classes

Live Online Classes are a live class conducted using online video streaming such as Zoom, MS Teams or Google Meet. Each class is restricted to just 6 people and we cover the same content as the live classes. Over the course of 4 hours we will cover the theory of scars and MSTR® followed by the practical component. We ask you to bring a friend or family member to practice on so we can observe and assist your technique development.

At the end of the live online class, you will still need to do the online questionnaire and 5 case studies in order to become an accredited practitioner.

Refresher Clinics

Refresher Clinics are designed for past students - both accredited practitioners and non-accredited students, to attend a 3-hour face-to-face update on technique, application, indications, contra-indications, client presentations and in-clinic assessment.

We want to provide an opportunity for our students to continue their accreditation pathway and for our accredited practitioners to hone their technique, remain current and up to date.

Participants are encouraged to bring in case study candidates, clients or friends to practice on during the clinic.

For non-accredited students, attendance at a Refresher Clinic within 2 years of your course will provide an additional 6 months to complete and submit your case studies towards completing your accreditation.

One-to-One Refresher

There are many reasons that you may like to book a one on one refresher with either Peta or Jaine...

Life got in the way and it has been a couple of months since you did the course and now you want to revise what you learned and reboot your accreditation?

Or perhaps you are an accredited practitioner and just want to refresh your skills and check in with your technique.

Maybe you would like to discuss a clinical presentation and how to approach a scar treatment...

Whatever the reason, a 1-2-1 session gives you an hour to Refresh, Revise, Reboot and Re-discover the incredible McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release® technique.

Instant Access Mentor Session

At the completion of all the online learning modules in the Instant Access course, you will need to book and complete a one-hour mentor session with your preferred mentor. This is a compulsory part of the course and will need to be completed in order to receive your Certificate of Attendance and to proceed to the next step towards becoming an Accredited Practitioner.
